Weta Weapons 26th July
I went to Royal Armouries in Leeds on Saturday I've lived in Leeds for
over 20 years and never been.
I'm not a fan of war things so I never saw the attraction but when it was
accounced about the fact weapons made by weta would be there.
Lord of the Rings and The Lion the witch and the wardrobe I just had to
go.
Some more info here.
From what it said on the site and for the fact it was Leeds we didn't think
there would be much and the fact it was free.
So we finally find the right floor and see small displays of King Kong and
Last sameria stuff and think oh right that's it then. We walk around the
corner and see Lord of the Rings posters and info so I'm think oh they are
just padding it out.
Then in front of us there is like this wardrobe door entrance and fur coats
on the side. We walked in and there was so much stuff. Shame was no pictures
we're allow to be taken but I managed to snap a few with my camera phone.
The website makes out there is going to be Peter's sword but in fact it
was his whole battle outfit. They had Susan's bow and some arrows and Lucy's
dragger and then Edmund's sword and Sheild and helmet.
They had loads of dwarf things and whole Centura outfits with huge swords
nearly as big as me. It was all so well set out I was very surprised.
I never ever thought I would squeel over swords. If you get a chance to
go
you should go.
The rather rubbish pictures are in the gallery here
