Bio
Born Benjamin Barnes (still trying to find out if he has a middle name) on August 20, 1981 he's 27 his Dad is a Psychiatrist
and my Mum is a Therapist. He grew up in South-West London and still lives in London now.
He has a younger brother called Jack who's currently 23.
Ben has a great many talents and as well as acting he can also sing and play piano and the drums.
His first professional job was playing the drums in "Bugsy Malone" in the West End when he was 16.
Ben was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre between 1997 and 2003
He says himself he has a very eclectic taste in music which include the Beatles, the Stones, Queen and some Motown
and Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway and modern stuff like Arctic Monkeys and Kanye West.
He also says he has a eclectic taste in movies as well one of his favourites is This is Spinal Tap.
Ben wanted to be a actor but on the advice of his parents went to University at Kingston and studied
Drama and English Specializing in children's literature.

TeenHollywood asked: If you are going to take someone out on a date, what kind of qualities does that person have to have?
Ben: They've just got to be someone who enjoys life and enjoys a laugh and has a good appetite for life in general. I can't stand it when I take someone to a restaurant and they order a salad.

There was a sticker in the front with a picture of a bear and it said "I can't bear to be without my books", a little pun and then it says "name" and I wrote Benjamin Barnes. I was eight years old.
Finally something he said to Teenhollywood that I think sums Ben up.
"Aslan asks whether Caspian - he tells the Kings and Queens of Narnia to rise. And Caspian looks up and says, "I don't think I'm ready yet." And he says, "For that reason, then, I know you are." I sort of feel I find myself leaning toward that answer, when people ask me how I'd propose to deal with the attention of playing the lead in a film. I sort of feel that I'm not necessarily ready, or even deserving of it. At least - and that definitely mirrors."
